Nitronic 60 / Alloy 218 / UNS S21800

Austenitic “anti-seize” steel with high wear resistance by silicon and manganese additions. Exceptional characteristics of wear by abrasion, against cold welding, seizing and galvanic corrosion. High resistance to chloride pitting corrosion (better than 316). Corrosion resistance like 1.4301 but with double the elongation limit. Oxidation resistance similar to 1.4828.
